What will you do in this role?


The Human Resources Coordinator will cover a full range of HR support services including but not limited to employee relations, disability management, ADP Workforce Now, general day-to-day employee assistance and a variety of special projects.

You will build strong relationships with our multiple locations and internal departments.

When needed, you will assist the recruitment department with job postings, interviews, etc.

You are someone who takes initiative and is constantly looking for ways to optimize and improve the HR function. You are detailed oriented.

You will collaborate with the Human Resources Manager on projects and assist with supporting the HR team on day-to-day HR initiatives.


Job responsibilities:


  • Assist with administrative changes, including but not limited to new hires, status changes, terminations, and payroll changes within ADP.
  • Coordinate the benefit program and the relationship between the company and carrier. As well as the monthly benefits billing and reconciliation process.
  • Respond to employee inquiries about benefits.
  • Assist Recruitment Manager with hourly and salary recruitment
  • Assist Human Resource Team and site managers with employee relations inquiries
  • Prepare and send offer letters, documents, presentations and facilitate the new hire process.
  • Administer the onboarding and offboarding process.
  • Ensure employee data within
    ADP Workforce Now maintains accuracy.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Post secondary education with a minimum of 3+ years of human resources experience working in Canada
  • Experience with ADP required (2 years)
    REQUIRED:
  • Experience with administrating and managing employee benefits (1 year)
    REQUIRED

  • Some recruitment, specifically the Indeed platform would be an asset.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Union experience an asset.
  • Manufacturing experience is an asset
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality regarding compensation, benefits, employee issues, etc.

This position will report directly to our Senior Labour Relations Manager.

$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
