You will play a key role by focusing on the planning & management of the company finances. Being flexible and open-minded with solid communication and people skills. Roles & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports
Manage the creation of the annual budget and forecasts with each department
Oversee all operational accounting functions & activities and review and supervise accounting staff with AP/AR functions
Responsible for identifying any issues with financial operations and making recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy
Annual T4 preparation, preparing yearend, HST/PST/WSIB/EHT Corporate Federal & Provincial tax remittances and filings
Report and work directly with the CEO to build and manage financial projections, compare to actual monthly results, and develop strategies to allow the company to continue scaling
Lead all discussions with Banks and other lending institutions
Perform other related duties as assigned by the CEO

Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections. Working knowledge of short and longterm budgeting and forecasting, and profitability and variance analysis
A proactive, headson strategic thinker with solid problemsolving skills
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures with a minimum of 5 years experience in Accounting and Finance Controlling
Excellent organizational skills to meet time demands and multiple duties with a focus on teamwork
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Advanced computer and data analytics skills with proficient use of Excel
Working knowledge of an ERP system
