Your role

Anticipated need for 1 year
As Digital Commercial Officer, you will perform administrative duties related to digital sales, ensuring quality client service.


More precisely, you will conceive, plan and manage digital advertising campaigns in the various systems (Advendio, GAM, Triton) using a range of tools, as well as traffick online creative; check and balance sales contracts to ensure compliance with policies, rates, standards and other criteria, making corrections as needed; follow up on matters and respond to client inquiries about contracts, trafficking, screenshots, reports, billing, etc., resolving difficulties and assisting the representative or other team members in the event of disputes; identify potential challenges and find solutions in order to optimize advertising campaigns.


Description of duties:


  • Create and contract commercial time submissions covered by prior agreements or to be established by management, negotiating unconfirmed makegoods with clients.
  • Check and balance sales contracts to ensure compliance with policies, rates, standards or other criteria, making corrections as needed.
  • Follow up on matters and respond to client inquiries regarding broadcast, presentation, placement, billing, etc., resolving issues and assisting the representative or other team members when disputes arise.
  • Review programming changes to identify their impact on sold commercial periods, suggesting alternatives in light of contractual agreements and what periods need to be maintained or moved.
  • Conduct postmortems on clients' overall buys, and proceed with precompensation and/or compensation, based on campaign performance.
  • When revising contracts or providing makegoods, seek out and propose equivalent commercial periods to clients, in order to retain concluded sales and maintain commercial profits; submit for approval and negotiate certain arrangements (e.g., postponements, replacements, credits) to avoid contract cancellation wherever possible.
  • Complete the appropriate forms and documents; prepare any correspondence and reports required in accordance with the information provided and ensure necessary followup.
  • Familiarize other people with their jobs by describing your own duties.

A) Qualifications:


  • College diploma (D.C.S.) in a similar field.
  • Minimum two (2) years' experience performing related duties.

B) Competencies:


  • Knowledge of the Windows environment and the Google suite.
  • Experience with GAM or another adserver.
  • Knowledge of Advendio or another contract management system is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Analytics, Moat, Triton is an asset.
  • Digital media experience.
  • Bilingualism, spoken and written is mandatory.
  • Ability to multitask and properly manage his time and priorities.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to work autonomously and to interact with multiple teams at once.
  • Ability to adapt to a constant changing environment without losing focus on the objectives.
  • Experience with client servicing or on the agency front is an asset.
  • Good judgment and sense of initiative.
  • Ability to assimilate new technologies or interface and to adapt while continuing to learn.
  • English test.
