Hair Salon Assistant
Main Purpose of the Job:
Assists hair stylists with hair styling tasks.
Director
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome clients and guests and direct them to the appropriate hair stylist and station.
- Shampoo and blow dry client's hair.
- Clean work areas by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping the floor, and wiping tables and hair washing stations.
- Sterilize all styling tools after use.
- Wash towels and other fabrics used.
- Oversee inventory of hair salon products and replenish them as necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma.
- Completion of hair styling training course from a reputable institution.
- At least 1 year of experience as a hair stylist assistant.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Pay:
$17.00 per hour
