Material Control Sales Supervisor
As a key member of the Material Control team, the Material Control Sales Supervisor will report to the Manager, Material Control, will supervise and train the Sales team, and will be responsible for the warehousing, quality, inventory, and sale of Aeronautical Parts in Quarantine


What does a Material Control Sales Supervisor
do?

  • Oversee the pulling, processing, documenting, and shipping of parts.
  • Monitor the shipping, receiving, issuing out, part out, documentation and consignment activities.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to Sales team. Review, prioritize, and organize daily tasks and assignments.
  • Validate work completed by the Sales team to ensure accuracy and fulfilment of requirements for shipping, receiving, and document preparedness.
  • Conduct weekly actioning of returns and review of restocking of inventory.
  • Monitor sales shipping related supplies and requisition additional supplies as needed.
  • Ensure part out and consignments are being actioned appropriately.
  • Assist with identifying processes and timeframes for assigned projects and provide updates when needed.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on sales inquiries, requests, and pending sales transactions.
  • Work with the Manager, Material Control to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Oversee 247 Sales Support phone and schedule oncall shifts for you and the Sales team.
  • Maintain warehousing, cleanliness, and organization of Quarantine in accordance with company standards.
  • Observe Voyageur's safety practices and procedures and comply with all company policies and regulatory requirements.

What you bring to the table

  • 3 years of experience in warehousing or a similar field.
  • Transport of Dangerous Goods certificate is an asset.
  • Forklift certified or eligible to become certified.
  • High school diploma.
  • Experience in a leadership role is an asset.
  • Skilled in data entry with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Suite. Experience with WinAir is an asset.
  • Willing to be on call.

You must be legally eligible to work for a Canadian company (e.g., be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada, or possess a valid work permit) and provide a clear Criminal Background Check.
