As a Practice Advisor, you will work closely with the portfolio management team, the IT and Operations teams, and partners in the business lines.


Your role will involve two components:

Internal Content Manager:


  • Support the team in producing, maintaining and properly managing internal content related to Bank practices, especially in terms of managing portfolios and projects (documentation for employees, internal websites and libraries)
  • Draft and revise various types of content (best practices guide, processes, reports on projects, recommendations, etc.)
  • Share your knowledge and demonstrate strong collaboration and support skills

Practice Advisor, Project Management:


  • Help identify potential improvements to the organization's project management practices and project execution cycle
  • Have a solid understanding of market best practices for project delivery using an agile, waterfall or hybrid approach
  • Present workshops and help define recommendations
  • Be able to present issues in simple terms to a variety of different audiences

Your profile

  • Completed bachelor's or master's degree in a related field and about 5 years of relevant experience
  • At least 3 years of experience as an advisor or project lead in a project environment and/or in project delivery practice or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of project management and inherent processes
  • Knowledge of the Atlassian suite (Jira and Confluence), an asset
  • Ability to lead workshops, present recommendations and communicate with stakeholders from various sectors
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to change
  • Knowledge of the banking industry and related technologies, an asset
  • Known as a diligent, independent person with an excellent ability to summarize information
  • Experience in ergonomics and web user experience, an asset
  • Bilingualism (English and French) required, as you will work closely with colleagues outside Quebec.
