    Responsibilities

    :
  • Investigate and devise a quality technical response on Gas Turbine Product Technical Variances. The response's key factors considered are cost efficiency, turn time and customer satisfaction, while maintaining highest product integrity, design, and operability intent.
  • Based on volume of request, the candidate will also support the following reactive and proactive repair and overhaul deliverables such as.
  • The definition, review and release of inspection criteria and acceptance limits for the repair and overhaul Engine Manual (at component, sub-assembly or whole engine level).
  • The definition, review, and release of repair schemes (methods) for the repair and overhaul Engine Manual (at component, sub-assembly or whole engine level).
  • The Engine in-shop maintenance work scope lifecycle requirements.
  • Manage work in accordance with project cost, timescale, and quality targets.
  • Work with internal and external customers depending upon project and program activities.
  • Work with external Repair Vendors for repair development program and to work in collaboration with customer support for the resolution of technical issues.
  • Continuously assess and identify improvement opportunities to the repair methods, and engine component inspection requirements/limits.

    • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 to years of relevant technical experience.
  • Have knowledge of gas turbines and/or industrial equipment, project management and repair / manufacturing techniques.
  • Good understanding of component definition drawings and relate to the design intent in the Engine assembly.
  • Ability to read, speak, write, understand, and verbally express ideas and instructions in French and English.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with peers, subordinates, supervisors, and management personnel.
  • Experience in a customer facing environment. Proven record of delivering technical solutions and improvements is advantageous.
  • High degree of autonomy and ability to self-manage priorities within the team's objectives to achieve customer expectations.
