We are looking for an Account Manager responsible for all business development-related activities with existing clients and new accounts by building relationships with prospective customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Identifying lead accounts, developing new business, and managing existing client relationships
- Drive profit (margin) through effective negotiation
- Provide full cycle customer service from contract to delivery and understand the customers shipping needs, negotiate rates, contract carriers
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain the flow of business information with a sense of urgency
- Manage your own book of business; be both available and accountable to your customers
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment
- Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behavior
Qualifications
years working in freight operations and farming accounts at an enterprise level
- Experience in Transport Sales or Logistics is preferred
- Highly proficient with MS Office
- Detail oriented while handling multiple tasks
- Strong negotiation skills
- Wellorganized and selfmotivated
Salary:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Mississauga, ON L5L 6A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Logistics/
- Sales: 2 years (preferred)
