Position Summary


We are looking for an Account Manager responsible for all business development-related activities with existing clients and new accounts by building relationships with prospective customers.


Key Accountabilities

  • Identifying lead accounts, developing new business, and managing existing client relationships
  • Drive profit (margin) through effective negotiation
  • Provide full cycle customer service from contract to delivery and understand the customers shipping needs, negotiate rates, contract carriers
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain the flow of business information with a sense of urgency
  • Manage your own book of business; be both available and accountable to your customers
  • Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client need fulfillment
  • Collect and analyze data to learn more about consumer behavior

Qualifications
years working in freight operations and farming accounts at an enterprise level

  • Experience in Transport Sales or Logistics is preferred
  • Highly proficient with MS Office
  • Detail oriented while handling multiple tasks
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Wellorganized and selfmotivated

Salary:
$50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mississauga, ON L5L 6A1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:


  • Logistics/
Courier Services: 2 years (preferred)

  • Sales: 2 years (preferred)
