- Ontario Canada-Robotic Welder Technician1st shift 6:30am3:00pm Monday Thru Friday**

CORE FUNCTIONS:
- Check completed parts to ensure compliance with required standards.
- Create robotic welding programs and modify existing ones.
- Debug existing programs.
- Read and interpret PLC ladder logic and energize new instructions for added programs.
- Develop program guidelines for efficiency, consistency, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot HMI (human machine interface) faults.
- Develop new additive manufacturing procedures.
- Finish the parts with various hand tools.
- Identify/perform correct robotic welding parameters, procedures, and programs
- Maintain/repair robotic and welding equipment.
- Operate/observe robots to detect malfunctions or nonconformance.
- Optimize robotic welding parameters.
- Perform excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
- Perform MIG welding operations (moderate to complex).
- Study prints/instructions to review dimensions and tolerances.
- Use a measuring tape and various gauges.
- Work safely to prevent onthejob injuries by adhering to all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
- Fanuc robot experience is highly preferred.
- Allen-Bradley PLC experience is highly preferred.
Abilities:
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings.
- Ability to use a tape measure and basic math functions.
- Ability to visualize projects and put together timelines and processes to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Interpretation of GD&T.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
Individual Contributor:
working team member with no oversight of others and no management responsibilities.
Lead:
working team member who coordinates, supports, trains, and is a knowledge resource for other team members. No direct reports or supervisory responsibility.
