The Opportunity:


Responsibilities:

• Checks the specifics of the material against written orders for accuracy
• Keys bar orders and sheet orders in the Mainframe computer system (SAP)
• Transfers material around the plant
• Assists in assignments with respect to warehouse housekeeping and equipment maintenance
• Performs all work with adherence to health, safety and environmental practices
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications required:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• 13 years of experience in material handling is required, preferably in the metal processing industry
• SAP experience is an asset
• Valid tow motor and overhead crane experience is an asset
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Word, Excel, Access and Mainframes; strong math skills
• Must be able to demonstrate precision measuring skills and competent operation of machinery and material handling equipment
• Keen attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Safety conscious and strong knowledge of health and safety procedures relevant to the position, in compliance with the provincial regulations and the company's policies
• Ability to work with minimum supervision in a fastpaced environment

Salary:
From $23.81 per hour

Expected hours: 44 per week
