About the team you are joining


Under IATA's Information & Data department, you will be joining the Industry Cybersecurity team, where activities are dedicated to lead and the support of airlines in their existing and coming challenges.

Via different groups of airlines, with support of strategic partners and others, through governance, advocacy and regulatory activities, our team is helping airlines augment cyber-resilience of the civil aviation industry.

What your day would be like


Reporting to the Assistant Director of Industry Cybersecurity, the intern will assist in handling the administration and logistics of the team, while assisting in the development, implementation and maintenance of aviation cyber security initiatives related to the different activities across IATA's Industry Cybersecurity Study Groups.


You will be asked to:

  • Support the creation of a research and innovation vault for the members, as well as all related papers that could support the work of the team and study group members
  • Support the creation of a business intelligence program, for the team (3CTX Open Forum)
  • Streamline the efforts of the team in terms of internal processes, redaction life cycles as well as establish roadmaps and timelines of the meetings, publications and reports;
  • Support the development of new guidance material, new programs or projects related to key initiatives, as assigned;
  • Develop and maintain the Industry Cybersecurity team's internal webpage and Extranet sites;
  • Support daily Aviation Cyber Security department activities as required;
  • Support on meeting preparations including agendas, briefing notes and reports as needed;
  • Support and coordinate regional requirements as assigned;
  • Maintain departmental files, ensure that all records are updated and modified as necessary;
  • Manage all queries received at the team's generic mailbox;
We would love to hear from you if

  • Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in IT & Cybersecurity related domain, Business Administration or similar field of study;
  • Previous entry level administrative work experience
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail;
  • Excellent PC skills, particularly with MS Office package.
  • Fully proficient in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills, any additional language will be an asset;
  • Ability to work effectively and tactfully in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Basic knowledge of the civil aviation industry and basic cyber security understanding.
