Summary:
This senior leadership role ensures the quality and success of Goldfish Swim School
- (in other words, kids learn to swim and be safe around water and have fun)_. This encompasses all aspects of daily operations including member acquisition & retention, staffing, pool operations, customer service, retail and snack bar, birthday party operations, and employee activities.

Key Activities:

Team Development

Recruits, hires, and onboards team members that are qualified to perform their role and have demonstrated a strong customer service orientation (_and are fun people to work with)_
Coaches team to ensure high productivity, excellent performance, and swimmer enjoyment
Plans & implements activities to cultivate great team engagement and job satisfaction

Member Acquisition, Retention, Sales & Marketing

Achieves registration targets by driving new enrollment, customer retention & referrals
Drives sales in merchandise & vending while maintaining inventory (_ie. sells lots of great stuff to families)_
Responsible for special events in the facility including birthday parties & rentals (_ie. host fun pool parties)_
Supports development and execution of onsite marketing and promotional activities.
Track & report sales performance to ensure the team is engaged to achieve targets

Pool Program & Member Relations

Leads Member Service Representative team to ensure outstanding customer service to families
Leads Aquatics Team to provide superior swim instruction to swimmers 9 (alongside the Aquatics Manager)
Coaches team on class scheduling, student progress, customer service, and ongoing training (_ie. make sure the team has everything they need to deliver great lessons)_
Ensures all corporate policies & procedures are fully executed within the facility _(and always be safe)_

Education/Experience:

3 to 5 years related experience in a senior management roles with a focus on achieving sales targets
Experience in leadership roles in either aquatics, recreation, retail, or food service preferred
Postsecondary degree or diploma Preferred. Degree or diploma in business administration, marketing, recreation, or related field preferred.

This is a full-time position.

Must be willing to work evenings and weekends in alignment with the schedule of the facility and the needs of the business.

GM will be required demonstrate leadership and work in water occasionally, especially when she/he needs to mentor or help progress a child who is not progressing.

Compensation:
Annual Salary Range $65,000 - $75,000, Participates in performance incentive bonus, employee health benefits and RRSP.
