As the next
Development Associate at
Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation (RAHF), you will make an impact on the organization by supporting development managers and other staff members to identify potential sources of donations and track the progress of fundraising campaigns.
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, you will oversee and support fundraising activities with an emphasis on major gift, planned giving, and nursing alumni prospects.

- Supporting donor activity and solicitation surrounding major gift, Nursing Alumnae, and planned giving portfolios
- Database management including metrics reports and tracking
- Supporting Directors and other staff with contact reports, appointment scheduling, payment requisitions, etc.
- Prospecting/stewardship such as engagement and donor support for our Nursing Alumnae
What We're Looking for On Your Resume:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, English, Not-for-Profit Management, or a related field
- Proficiency with financial management software
- Knowledge of Raiser's Edge software is an asset
What We Will Want Demonstrated in the Interview:
- Superior interpersonal skills: ability to communicate clearly and precisely in a positive, professional manner
- Excellent consultative and managerial skills; your ability to work independently and collaboratively while providing support across the Foundation
- Highly motivated, selfstarter attitude and the ability to work in a fastpaced environment with competing projects and deadlines
- Agree to a Canadian criminal record check and/or Vulnerable Sector Search prior to start of employment
