Satellite Image Annotation — CVAT Polygon Segmentation

Job description
We need an experienced image annotator to complete semantic segmentation of ~485 aerial/satellite images of residential properties in the Phoenix, AZ metro area using CVAT (Computer Vision Annotation Tool).
15 images have already been completed and will serve as ground truth examples.The Work
Each image shows a single residential property from a top-down satellite view. Your job is to draw precise polygons around distinct landscape zones on the center property only (ignore neighboring homes).
Labels (9 categories):
Building Footprint — roofline/structure
Pool — swimming pool and immediate deck
Driveway/Walkways — concrete or paver surfaces
Patio — covered or open patio areas
Grass/Turf — any green lawn areas
Desert Rock/Gravel — decomposed granite, river rock, gravel
Trees/Vegetation — tree canopy, large shrubs, cacti
Bare Soil — exposed dirt, weedy areas
Artificial Turf — synthetic grass
Key Rules:
Annotate the center property only — do not label neighboring homes
Polygons should stay within the implied lot boundaries (no explicit property lines shown)
No gaps between adjacent zones — polygons should share edges cleanly
When in doubt, refer to the 15 completed reference images provided
Requirements-Must have hands-on CVAT experience — please share screenshots or examples
Experience with polygon/semantic segmentation (not just bounding boxes)
Prior work with aerial or satellite imagery is a strong plus
Attention to detail and consistency across images
Reliable internet and availability to complete work soon

Paid test batch:
You'll start with 25 images so we can verify quality and alignment
Feedback round:
We review, provide notes, and agree on standards
Full batch:
Complete remaining ~485 images
Access will be provided to our hosted CVAT instance with all images pre-loaded in batches of 50
Budget-Fixed price per image — please include your per-image rate in your proposal
Expected range:
$0.25/image depending on experience and quality
Total project:
~485 images
