What you'll do*We're Canada's leading online donor-advised fund.

Our products and services make it easier for people to give charitably and create the change they want to see in the world.

Yet most Canadians are still unfamiliar with donor-advised funds, which is both a challenge and a huge opportunity to connect the dots for donors of all types.

As a Copywriter, you will help shape brand experiences and bring our brand voice to life.

You will create clear, cohesive and compelling copy across multiple communication touchpoints to introduce and educate audiences on our product and offering.

You'll be reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Content Strategy and work closely with colleagues on the Brand team.

We are a hybrid office, with some team members working from home and in the office.

Your responsibilities*- Help articulate complex concepts and key value propositions into clear, digestible and motivating copy for different audiences, channels, and stages of the customer journey

  • Collaborate with the Growth & Performance team to develop copy that converts for digital ads and campaigns
  • Optimise copy on existing communications to ensure brand consistency
  • Presenting rationale to key stakeholders while working with their feedback
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to brainstorm and develop content
  • Support video team in development of video scripts
  • Contribute to brand style guide and develop brand voice standards
  • Manage copy tasks and projects to ensure deliverables are ontime
  • Build your understanding of our product, markets and audiences

  • 25 years of copywriting experience
  • Strong portfolio of relevant writing examples
  • Strong understanding of writing best practices for different channels and audiences
  • Inquisitive and not afraid to ask questions to seek clarity when needed
  • Ability to interpret feedback and adapt ideas into creative content and copy
  • Ability to extract compelling narratives and perspectives
  • Ability to multitask, problem solve and adapt with changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles
