We are currently recruiting for a Health & Safety Administrator at our head office in Red Deer, AB.

What will you do?

Maintain the administration and documentation of Canalta's Safety program.
Monitor incident frequencies and safety violations, reporting consistently.
Assist in all investigations and complete related documentation.
Regularly monitor safety compliance, complete safety related training of workers & facilitate new worker safety orientations.
Conduct site inspections and identify corrective actions as needed.
Ensure completion of regular inspection reports, deficiencies are corrected and entered in WorkHub.
Participate in safety meetings, toolbox meetings, and promote health and safety awareness.
Complete all reporting to WCB and maintain communication regarding open files.

What do you need?

2+ years of safety experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Possess the demonstrated ability to motivate self and others
Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision
Ability to create, grow and maintain positive relationships with multiple groups
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking, problemsolving skills, and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
Relevant Post-Secondary education in HSE is an asset
