Bayshore Home Care Solutions, Brantford Branch is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence, for an NSWOC role.

In this Casual position, the NSWOC will work 3 days per week in the community setting, with the opportunity to work a regular client caseload, up to 25 working hours per week.

Brantford and Brant County area.

What you'll be doing:
As an RPN, make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of nursing care to our clients in the community. This position requires travel throughout Brant County.
This position utilizes a wide range of clinical skills, including but not limited to wound care, ostomy and continence care, intravenous therapy, palliative, pediatric, and health teaching towards chronic disease prevention.
As the primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship and preceptorship programs.
You will teach and delegate tasks and functions to various levels of staff and client family members while maintaining our industry's highest level of practice.
You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be more focused on care time and less travel time.

Job Qualification

Qualifications you currently have:
Registered Practical Nurse who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
Updated Immunization Records, Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check upon hire
Current CPR certification required
