Bayshore Home Care Solutions, Brantford Branch is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence, for an NSWOC role.


In this Casual position, the NSWOC will work 3 days per week in the community setting, with the opportunity to work a regular client caseload, up to 25 working hours per week.

  • What you'll be doing:
  • As an RPN, make a difference everyday by providing the highest quality of nursing care to our clients in the community. This position requires travel throughout Brant County.
  • This position utilizes a wide range of clinical skills, including but not limited to wound care, ostomy and continence care, intravenous therapy, palliative, pediatric, and health teaching towards chronic disease prevention.
  • As the primary care planner to your clients, you have the autonomy and flexibility to provide a holistic approach to care while increasing your skills through our comprehensive training, mentorship and preceptorship programs.
  • You will teach and delegate tasks and functions to various levels of staff and client family members while maintaining our industry's highest level of practice.
  • You are the nursing care expert for your community. With our efficient work schedules, you will be more focused on care time and less travel time.

Job Qualification

  • Qualifications you currently have:
  • Registered Practical Nurse who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Updated Immunization Records, Clear criminal background check and vulnerable sector check upon hire
  • Current CPR certification required
