Senior Communications Advisor (contract)
Our client is a Canadian multinational energy company. They focus on transportation, distribution, and generation of energy, primarily in North America. They have a long history in the responsible development and reliable and safe operation of North American energy infrastructure. They are one of the continent's largest providers of energy storage and related services.
They are currently looking for a Senior Communications Advisor for their Calgary, AB location.

Provide expertise with writing and editing advertising copy for campaigns in both the U.Provide communications counsel to senior leaders, primarily around marketing initiatives.

Contribute to mitigating potential risks to client reputation; promote and enhance the company's brand and reputation as a responsible oil and natural gas developer.

Editing and communicating ad copy and digital content.
Superior writing and personal communications skills for business and general audiences.
Strong experience providing strategic marketing communications counsel to senior leaders.
Demonstrated experience in writing corporate communications plans and advertising campaign support materials.
Hands-on experience developing and/or overseeing the execution of external communications and advertising campaigns.
Ability to build strong cross-team working relationships within a corporate setting and with external agencies.
Comfort working to deadline and ability to be flexible when facing evolving priorities.
Minimum of 8 years of professional communications and/or marketing experience

Experience or familiarity with the Canadian oil and gas industry and a strong understanding of current issues are assets.

Experience working with external agencies or account management within an advertising agency with large corporate clients
