Individual Responsibilities**:
- Work with senior leaders across Technology and Communities of Practice to lead/manage a portfolio of projects or programs with strategic impact on the global technology delivery practice
- Lead the program management of process improvement BAU opportunities, as needed
- Lead and facilitate the Technology Delivery Community of Practice
- Support the facilitation of the Engineering Community of Practice
- Intake and maintain prioritization opportunities across Engineering and Delivery Communities of Practice
- Size and prioritize opportunities for business value and impact
- Support development of arguments for the Engineering and Delivery Communities of Practice
- Measure and report on success of the Communities and issue recommend opportunities for improvement/correction
- Partner with Finance Strategy & Transformation on value realized of initiatives
- Work with Human Resources and Manulife University on Communities of Practice's training & development needs for program and project management
- Identify organisational change needs coming from process design and initiatives.
- Work with change enablement and communications to foster successful change

- Broad understanding of business unit strategic direction, functions, products and services
- Presents sophisticated ideas clearly, handle the complexities of integrating new technologies, and influence individuals across business boundaries to achieve objectives
- Mastery of project management techniques, and systems development methodologies
- Strong planning, influencing, negotiating, and conflict management abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to provide updates to all levels including Senior Management
- Thinks strategically, assesses alternatives for short and long term impacts
- Flexible and adaptable when taking care of change

Job Requirements:
- Proven track record to interact / influence outside functional boundaries to achieve common goals
- PMP, CSM or related project management accreditation would be considered an asset
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 10 years of experience in project or portfolio management
- Financial competence as it relates to project/program/portfolio budgeting and forecasting
- Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills

Salary range is expected to be between
$107,730.00 CAD - $200,070.00 CAD
