The Bilingual Content Consultant ("the Consultant") will play a central role in the development and maintenance of French and English content that helps the Group Retirement (GR) sales team win new business as well as retain existing clients.
Working alongside the Content Manager, the Consultant will partner with Proposal and Shortlist Consultants, as well as Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to identify emerging trends and gather up-to-date information on our products and services.
The Consultant will use this information to craft compelling presale content elements that tell our story. He or she will report to the Director of presale and retention, within the GR Marketing team.
The GR Marketing team is accountable for developing sound and innovative marketing strategies that support growth objectives and help position GR as the premier service provider within the industry.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively develop and manage key presale content and collaterals to ensure that proposals, shortlist presentations, and retention proposals are delivered on time with high quality messaging.
- Consults regularly with SME partners on key initiatives/new enhancements to ensure timely delivery and development of content across all channels.
- Works with the Content Manager to develop robust content strategies and processes.
- Collaborates with multiple stakeholders including marketing, sales, account management, underwriting, design and communication resources to craft compelling content that support efforts to win and retain business.
- Identifies emerging industry trends and seizes opportunities to enhance GR presale content.
- Advises Proposal and Shortlist Consultants, as well as sales teams on effective pursuit and messaging strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Prior experience in business development, proposal and/or technical writing
- Strong persuasive and diplomacy skills with the ability to deal autonomously with various internal stakeholders
- Prior experience in Financial Services, particularly Group Retirement is a major asset

The annual base salary for this role is listed below.
Primary Location

Salary range is expected to be between
$66,750.00 CAD - $111,250.00 CAD
