*Intermediate Construction Estimator*Barrie, Ontario80K salary plus benefits and room for advancementHybrid Role-2 days in officeServicing Barrie to Muskoka Regions*Responsibilities*· Analyze drawings and specifications and working with clients and sales dept on budgets, pricing and value engineering· Create accurate and detailed estimates and proposals· Review and verify contract terms and conditions· Creating spec sheets and ensuring accuracy of all information· Calculate and unit pricing and material costs· Process change orders and quote revisions· Quantity and Material take offs· Communicate with Site Supers in regards to material usage and shortages· Assist with coordination of construction activities (scheduling, cash flow and reporting)· Create cost break downs for project progress reporting· Facilitate weekly meetings with Operations and Sales to review sales and project priorities*Qualifications*· Post Secondary Education in Construction, Engineering, Architecture or equivalent· 3-5 years of Estimating experience in Residential New Build industry· Excellent organizational and communication skills· Software proficiency with Estimating Software, Spreadsheets, AutoDesk, AutoCad/Revit and ProEst preferred· Ability to travel to various sites as required throughout Barrie and Muskoka Regions
