Responsibilities:


  • Oversee distribution of project equipment.
  • Build and manage upcoming equipment requirement packages.
  • Help in improving asset management for both equipment and light duty fleet.
  • Closely monitor the equipment needs of each project.
  • Working with field operations management to source the most feasible options for replacement.
  • Receives, reviews, and expedites requisitions.
  • Developing, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining supply chain management strategies that increase the efficiency and speed of supply operations.
  • Consult regularly with suppliers and field operations.
  • Implement operational policies and procedures.
  • Handling all correspondence and negotiations with suppliers.
  • Updating leadership about the actions of the equipment regularly.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to identify and close any operational gaps.
  • Monitoring costs and staying within allocated budgets, and preparing reports.
  • Reading and analyzing reports from supervisors and other employees.
  • Updating executives about the actions of the equipment and trucking regularly.
  • Other duties as required.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred).


Requirements:


  • A minimum of 3 to 5 years of handson experience with a variety of heavy equipment, including dozers, haul trucks, shovels, and excavators from major brands like CAT, John Deere, Hitachi, and Komatsu.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime and participate in an oncall rotation, including evenings and weekends, as required.
  • Intermediate to advanced skillset in utilizing MS Office, with a particular focus on Excel and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated 25 years of equipment coordination experience within the heavy civil sector or exposure to heavy equipment operations.
