Position and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Manager, Asset Information Management, you will be responsible for entry and maintenance of asset master data in Cameco's enterprise asset management system (SAP-PM) including functional location and equipment records, bills of material for which material master requests may be required, and maintenance plans for which detailed work instructions may be required.

You may also assist with ancillary asset data systems like asset performance management and condition monitoring systems. The work may require review of technical drawings, manuals, and other information sources.

You will have the opportunity to work remote in this position.

However, there may be the need for intermittent meetings in the Saskatoon office or visit our operations in Northern Saskatchewan to gather field information.

This is a temporary one-year term position.

Education and Qualifications

Requirements of the position:

Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Instrumentation Technology
Minimum of five to eight years of relevant work experience with industrial equipment of the nature for which master data must be created and maintain, either as trades person, technician, planner, or designer.
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Attention to detail, understanding of electromechanical systems, proficiency with data manipulation
Advanced knowledge of SAP-PM (Plant Maintenance), Microsoft Excel
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word.
