***: The incumbent is responsible for performing various tasks related to the verification, repair and maintenance of the office tower's plumbing systems. The plumber must also ensure that all safety measures are followed in accordance with current procedures and good practices.

FUNCTIONS:

Performs a variety of maintenance and repair tasks in the areas of plumbing including sanitary facilities.
Repair or replace faulty plumbing fixtures;
Unclog sinks, drains, basins, showers, urinals and cabinets;
Ensure the proper maintenance of piping, taps, valves and other accessories according to a CMMS program;
Proceed with the commissioning and closing of plumbing systems;
Respond to customer service calls during the shift;
Maintain the inventory of plumbing parts, suppliers and tools;
Estimates, upon request, the quality and quantity of materials and labour;
Respond and assist as required during emergencies (e.g. fires, floods, power outages, etc.)
Work in collaboration with the other members of the team on site (HATF, refrigeration specialist, MMF and relamper)
If necessary, support specialized contractors.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Have training in building maintenance
Experience in a similar position
Interpersonal skills and ease of communication with the public
