Shift timings:
Weekly rotating shift schedules.
Monday to Thursday - 7:00am to 5:00pm & 5:00pm to 3:00am.
Trim Press Operator:
The Trim Press Operator is responsible for safely operating production equipment and making decisions on the quality of the parts produced.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
This is an entry level position and full training on all requirements will be provided. The position works on rotating shifts, and overtime is available. This position requires repetitive work, lifting up to 15lbs, and the ability to use hand tools.
The specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Maintain continuous operation of the production process
Complete a pre-start safety check prior to shift commencement.
Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. pre-start safety checks, production sheets, bin tags, In-process sheets, sensor and error proofing check log etc.)
Effectively communicate to the supervisor or the next operator at shift change, of any visual or dimensional defects.
Understand inspection procedures, make checks as necessary per control plan.
Use a hand tool where necessary to improve a finish on a part.
Ensure that all unacceptable parts be counted and disposed of into scrap bin.
Must have:
Access to your own vehicle/ Reliable transportation.
Available to work on rotational shifts and weekends when required.
Work permit or permanent residency.
