Mercedes-Benz North Vancouver Body Shop Collision Centre is currently looking to fill a position of a
Mechanical
Technician.
Must have Mercedes-Benz experience
Responsible for repairing vehicles according to information provided on the repair orders and according to proper shop policy and warranty policy.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The main duties are pre & post scans along with all calibrations for vehicles with insurance claims.
- Preform wheel alignments and replacement of damaged suspension components.
- Diagnosis, recalibrate all safety features on the vehicles that are involved in collisions.
- Road test all vehicles before and after servicing.
- Advise advisor if repairs take longer than promised time on work order.
- Notify Advisor of additional repairs, parts and labor to the customer.
- Complete all assigned work.
- Document all repairs and services performed on vehicle in a clear manner.
- Maintain general cleanliness in the shop.
- Maintain a high efficiency level through efficient work practices.
- Maintain a polite and helpful attitude.
- Maintain or exceed Productivity and Efficiency Objectives set by Body Shop Manager.
