Permanent full-time position


About the position
Imagia Canexia Health is currently on the lookout for an experienced Administrative Assistant.

This is a full-time position based in our Vancouver office.


What you'll be accountable for:

As a member of our team, you will take care of all administrative tasks related to:

Office coordination, Vancouver premises (40%)

  • Supplies and premises:
  • See to the procurement of stationery, snacks, etc.
  • Maintenance of photocopier
  • Management of office security (key inventory, alarm system coding, parking spots)
  • Liaise with property management to assure proper maintenance, tidiness, and safety
  • Management of petty cash
  • IT matters and needs: act as a liaison for the Vancouver sites, with our Montrealbased IT resources
  • Computer and peripherals inventory
  • Team events and social activities: logístical support with
  • Coordination of lunch orders
  • Group reservations and hospitality arrangements
  • Shipping

Contributions to other company functions (10%)

  • Help distribute internal communications when needed
  • Help with welcoming new employees and onpremise tasks as part of offboarding
  • Provide light clerical support to our Finance department (POs, coding )

Laboratory support (50%)

  • Organizing patient files, scanning test requisition forms and pathology reports, faxing reports
  • Reconciliation of laboratory invoices and coordination with the finance department
  • Archiving laboratory documentation
  • Miscellaneous laboratory support such as business license renewals, coordinating Iron Mountain (document archival & secure shredding services), supporting lab security (maintaining Keycard inventory & alarm system programming)

About you

Requirements:


  • Education: college or undergraduate degree
  • Experience: 3+ years in a bilingual and laboratory environment
  • Skills: MS office and GSuite, standard office procedures
  • A people person and a team player
  • A pragmatic, selfdriven, and dynamic collaborator with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a sense of costeffectiveness
  • Able to travel between Vancouver offices (Kitsilano and UBC)
