Job description_

Childcare Supervisor / Worker(childcare supervisor certificate and/or childcare worker)

• Plan both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives and program philosophy.
• Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child
• Encourage assistants to contribute to curriculum planning
• Coordinate field trips, Prepare monthly plan charts
• Complete biannual assessment of children's development
• Report progress of children to parents biannual reports and through parentteacher conferences Maintain daily open communication with parents
• Maintain confidentiality for children reports, records and files
• Arrange classroom environment in accordance to program goals and philosophy
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment
• Supervise assistants and aides volunteers in the classroom

- maintain all appropriate records such as records, attendance and time sheets.

• Meet all applicable childcare licensing & regulations
• Pick up & drop off children at school on time
• Other duties and responsibilities are required

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Part-time hours: 40 per week


Salary:
$16.00-$19.00 per hour
