Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to to be placed at our client's manufacturing facility in South East Calgary.
This position reports to our Ontario head office and interfaces with Calgary plant staff performing day to day human resources related functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about HR and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities:
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, generating employment contracts and facilitate orientation for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure consistent timely transmission of documents to head office.
- Support employee relations by addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely manner. Investigates and reports on all staff related issues such as disputes, claims, etc
- Coordinate training programs and ensure compliance with training requirements. Participates in monthly health & safety meetings; provides minutes to head office
- Manages daily staff Time Management system that requires time clock adjustments
- Assist with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Participates in weekly conference calls and provides statistical data of work flow
- Documents absences, lateness, vacation requests, reprimands for head office
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary education in Human Resources or related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Administrator or similar role.
- Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of MS Office suites (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations as well as Health & Safety protocols is an asset
- Well developed interpersonal skills to interact with diverse population is critical
Salary:
$50,000.00 per year
