- Responsible for crafting precise interim and annual Consolidated Financial Statements and the Annual Information Form.
- Assist in reviewing the quarterly and annual Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) and Supplemental Information.
- Thoroughly assess the accuracy and completeness of various schedules and supporting financial documents.
- Partner with teams across the organization to deliver transparent and insightful financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Ensure robust internal controls are in place for financial reporting.
- Support the transition to Integrated Reporting.
- Prepare interim and annual Consolidated Financial Statements.
- Stay informed about International Financial Reporting developments and implement necessary changes.
- Continuously enhance external disclosures through peer reviews.
- Maintain consistency across other external reporting documents.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience working as a financial analyst or in a similar role.
- University degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration or related field.
- Chartered Professional Accountant Designation.
- Excellent knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and Continuous Disclosure requirements for a public company.
- Solid understanding of internal control frameworks.
- Experience working with an ERP system such as SAP.
- Experience working with WDesk is preferred.
- Strong computer skills, specifically with Microsoft.
- Good knowledge of the oil and gas industry.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to execute in a time-constrained environment.
- Excellent business writing and oral communication skills.
