This role is a hybrid work arrangement. Work schedule to be discussed with the Hiring Manager according to the guidelines defined by the department.

What You'll Do


Reporting to the Senior Director, Broadcast Solutions, T&I, you bring your knowledge, experience and enthusiasm of new production technologies to help influence your clients' business strategy from a technology perspective.


Your project management, and leadership skills may be required to supervise an in-house team (hiring, monitoring, coaching, etc.) and outside consultants, including planning/coordinating team activities.

Your wide-ranging knowledge, sound judgment and analytical acumen will allow you to guide product evolution decisions and activities. Production and Content solutions include tools to facilitate the gathering, assigning, creation and management of our media content.

Strategic and Capacity Planning

  • Assess all client business needs (including business cases and feasibility studies).
  • Align technology needs for all business lines to help them achieve their objectives.
  • Determine key strategies for improving the technology delivery model.
  • Improve communication among all technology groups to promote an effective delivery model for the business community.
  • Develop and maintain road maps and strategic plans under your responsibility to feed into annual financial planning and manage technology risks.
  • Develop business cases and feasibility studies, including cost/benefit analyses.
  • Participate in defining the annual softwareupdate plans, based on business priorities and technology risks.
Project Management

  • Determine the project mandate: Identify business needs and set expectations and possible responses. Choose the action plan, determine the size of the project and assess risks, impacts and limits. Once the framework is defined, determine project objectives.
  • Determine the necessary human, financial and technical resources jointly with management.
  • Validate, with all players involved, the various project development phases so as to ensure compliance with initial objectives; determine and take corrective action as needed. Find solutions to issues and constraints, escalating unresolved issues as needed.
  • Advise, guide and provide business expertise to others during the planning and development phases of projects.
Management and Administration

  • Participate in the hiring and the management of inhouse and external resources to satisfy the project mandate.
Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant domain or equivalent, or a combination of relevant education, training and experience in media/content production and management
  • Knowledge of media production tools, workflows and environments
  • At least five (5) years of experience in the field
  • Be familiar with control mechanisms for software management
  • Indepth knowledge of business and technologysolution analysis
  • Excellent knowledge in Project Management
  • Ability to work well to tight deadlines and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong teamwork skills and client focus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to create an environment of trust
  • Outstanding leadership, influencing and conflict management skills to handle complex situations
  • Experience with Information Technology General Controls (ITGC)
