Under the general direction of the Manager ‐ Health Records,the Clerk 2 is responsible for performing quantitativeanalysis on patient records and the completion of an incompleterecords notification which indicates physician record
requirements according to Hospital policy and provincial legislation.Performs all scanning related functions including
prepping of patient records, scanning of patient records, andelectronic moving of patient reports.
Qualifications:
Graduate from a Medical Office Administration Program orequivalent
Familiarity with Meditech Scanning application and othersoftware programs
Must have working knowledge of medical terminology
Proven track record of compliance with the Code of Conduct
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well under pressure with a minimum ofsupervision
Ability to work under pressure with time constraints
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
Willingly floats and functions throughout the department
Demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy while processing highvolumes
Team player with ability to achieve results working in acooperative manner
Salary Range: $25.528 to 26.178
