    RVT Manager/Leader – Russell Lake Animal Hospital

    We are a full-service facility (in-house laboratory, Idexx reference lab support, surgical suite, dental suite, a DR radiology suite, ultrasound and in-house pharmacy

    We are open 7 days a week but are supported by our local 24/7 emergency hospital, so our staff are NOT expected to be on-call for overnights or holidays.

    Related experience in training/management an asset
    Manages staff and schedules to provide adequate patient care
    Develops and implements policies and procedures
    Furnishes input for budget planning and participates in budget monitoring and management
    Is responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees
    Maintains workflow by monitoring workload of functional areas, identifying peak and slack periods, and making operational or staffing adjustment
    Oversees supply inventories for specific areas
    Conducts employee performance reviews and handles personnel issues
    Manages personnel training and development programs, including safety training


    Start Date:

    ASAP
    Starting at $35 per hour
    Expanded Health Benefits (vision, dental & health savings account)

    Experience and Low Stress Handling or Fear Free Certification are an asset, but confident new grads are welcome to apply as well.
