- Assist in the development and maintenance of the standards, systems, and workflows of the engineering department. For example:
- Modeling, drafting, and nomenclature standards.
- Common part and material standardization.
- Data management systems.
- Document control workflows, including technical publications.
- Engineering onboarding programs.
- Monitor adherence to standards, troubleshoot issues and identify areas of improvement.
- Manage engineering software licenses and hardware deployment.
- Prepare, edit, and proofread technical documentation and instructional material, as required.
- Collaborate with production and development teams to ensure project completion.
- Instruct and train designers on Brandt systems to help develop personnel and align processes.
- Business travel will be an occasional requirement.
- Other related tasks, as required.
- Professional Engineer or Technologist with 10+ years of experience.
- Extensive experience in 3D CAD, preferably SolidWorks.
- Extensive experience in data vaulting solutions, preferably SolidWorks.
- Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Logical, consistent, and effective approach to problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Capacity to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent work ethic.
