Description
We are seeking a
full-time Warehouse Forklift driver / Shipper to join the Anderson Watts warehouse team, with a
daytime schedule.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving of electric Sit Down Counter balance forklift.
- Process, pick, and accurately assemble orders to customer specifications.
- Building pallets following proper stacking and storage methods to ensure stability for shipping and to prevent product damage. Majority full pallet picking
- Loading of trucks to ensure product integrity and also maximum space usage.
- Follow correct product rotation procedure (FIFO)
- Communicating with internal team.
- Inventory counts.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Prior shipping experience is required.
- Current, valid forklift
- SDCB Class 1/4/
- Sit Down Counter Balance
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Good communication skills.
- Working independently and in a team environment.
- Steel toed footwear is required.
- Grocery product shipping an asset.
