- Develop software for a complete cloud infrastructure software stack.
- Develop high quality designs and code based on Kubernetes, containerized applications, distributed cloud systems, and cloud infrastructure management.
- Work as part of a team focused on containerizationand fault tolerant/carrier grade development.
- Work with the most dynamic and exciting open-source software projects today – Kubernetes, KubeVirt, Helm, Ansible, Puppet, OSTree.
- Develop and deliver platform upgrade features with high quality design and code.
- Investigate and resolve issues reported during product verification and customer integration.
- Participate in all aspects of the software development process using agile development.
- Bachelor's/ Master'sdegreeinComputer Science orrelated field.
- 7+years ofprofessionalsoftware developmentexperience
- 5+ years of programming experience with Python
- 3+ years ofprogramming experience with C/C++preferred
- 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns,reliabilityand scaling) of new and current systems.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+yearsof professionalexperience in buildinginfrastructure softwarefor highly scalable and distributed systems.
- Track record of building and delivering mission critical, 24x7 production software systems.
- Proficient in C/C++, shell scripting
- Proficient in L2/L3 networking
- Working knowledge of SQL, exposure to postgreSQL
- Experience with Debian packaging, ostree
- Contribution to the open-source community.

About the Team
Within the Wind River Cloud team, we work with large-scale projects like Kubernetes, Docker,OpenStackand fast-paced Open-Source technologies that are in high demand from our customers. Wind River Cloud has adopted these technologies into the core of our product, which is driving us to find experienced and high-performing individuals that can learn and contribute to these container and virtualization solutions.
