Part-time Postal Contract Delivery Drivers - Port Alberni, Canada - Island Opportunities

Description

Mail bag delivery within a portion of Port Alberni.
No experience necessary.
All training provided.
Van, mini-van, or SUV required.


MAIN DUTIES
Organize delivery line of travel
Load and unload cargo
Communicate with central dispatch using mobile communications equipment


EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS
Possess a valid Driver's Licence at all times appropriate to the class of vehicle being driven
Complete a criminal record check and security screening
Must be able to lift 35lbs


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Ability to meet and maintain service requirements
Perform additional pick-ups and deliveries as required
Accurate completion and daily submission of required documentationBuild positive relationships with both internal customers (managers, supervisors, employees, and contractors) and external customers


PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work independently and problem solve
Ability to work as a Team and assist where required
Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills


HOURS OF WORK
Monday - Friday position
Approximately 45 minutes of work per day after training, between 9 and 10am.


WAGES AND BENEFITS
$50/day minimum.
