**Opportunity

Carpenter Apprentice**
Responsibilities
Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
Assisting with repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
Follow compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service.
Assist with building foundations, installing floor systems, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roofing systems.
Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
Other tasks as assigned by the Site Superintendent.

Requirements:

High School Diploma.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or experience on a construction site.
Knowledge of Mathematics
Have a growth 'mindset' and have open communication skills.
Experience installing doors, windows, and siding.
Good physical fitness, stamina and strength, good handeye coordination.
Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time, including climbing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary:

$21.00-$25.00 per hour
