**Opportunity

  • Carpenter Apprentice**
    Responsibilities
  • Assisting supervisors with structural design, planning, layout, and installation.
  • Assisting with repair work and installation of doors, windows, drywall, cabinets, stairs, and other fixtures as required.
  • Ability to operate tools, machines, and other equipment.
  • Follow compliance with local building codes, and health and safety regulations.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist with building foundations, installing floor systems, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roofing systems.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the Site Superintendent.

Requirements:


  • High School Diploma.
  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or experience on a construction site.
  • Knowledge of Mathematics
  • Have a growth 'mindset' and have open communication skills.
  • Experience installing doors, windows, and siding.
  • Good physical fitness, stamina and strength, good handeye coordination.
  • Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time, including climbing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Salary:

$21.00-$25.00 per hour
