As a Test Specialist at IBM, your analytical and technical skills will directly impact the quality of the software we create.

Whether the testing is manual, automated, or cognitive, you hold a key role in releasing the best deliverables to IBM'ers and our clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities

This position resides in Toronto, ON and is a 4 month work term commencing in May 2023. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work-term.

Skills:
Environment:
Minimal or no experience required. Knowledge acquired from academic institutions. Requires ability to absorb professional knowledge and develop skills quickly.
Communication/Negotiation:
Train to draw on professional concepts to collaborate with others to carry out assigned duties.
Problem solving:
Learn to follow given procedures and processes to identify jobrelated problems, analyze causes using existing techniques or tools.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Exposure to coding.
Willingness to learn.
Good communication skills
Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in May

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Study areas science, math, engineering, comp science
Registered in a formal coop/internship program

Location Statement

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by Export Regulations sanctions.
