Description

The successful incumbent's duties will include, but not be limited to: repairing doors, windows and screens; removing and setting floor tiles, and installing and repairing hardwood floors; repairing kitchen cabinets or cupboards; removing and replacing countertops and sinks; minor plumbing repairs; minor electrical repairs to switches, fixtures, outlets; undertaking plaster, tile, and masonry repairs; repairing exterior porches and siding including eaves troughs and downspouts; maintaining a stock inventory and informing Supervisor when materials are getting low; maintaining workshop, tools and equipment in a safe manner, assisting in preparation of vacated units as required; completing and signing relevant sections of work orders and returning same promptly.

The Maintenance Repairperson must exercise tact and diplomacy when dealing with CHC customers and represent CHC in a positive manner.
