D&G Landscaping is a commercial and institutional landscaping and heavy civil construction company based in Greely, Ontario.

Our projects include Parliament (West Block & Centre Block), Lansdowne Park, Rideau Street, Elgin Street, multiple OLRT Stations to name just a few.

We are proud to have worked on some of the largest landscape construction projects in our nation's capital.

Our laborers are unionized thru LiUNA Local 527, offering competitive pay rates, health benefits, 10% vacation pay, pension & more.

Responsibilities

Installation of softscaping, soil grading, topsoil, plantings, sodding, etc.
Install hardscaping structures (e.g., armour stone walls, interlock, granite, curbs, benches, garbage cans, installations, etc.)
Operate equipment as needed (skid steer, loader, tractor, minix & more)
Follow safe handling procedures for use of equipment and tools
Conduct daily circle checks on equipment, as required

Qualifications

2+ years in construction (preferably Landscape Construction)
Ability to use quick cuts and other tools to prepare and lay complex interlock, granite and other design features
Proven experience in physically demanding, outdoor labor
Knowledge of landscape construction materials, processes and equipment (an asset but not necessary)
Reliable transportation to get to/from job sites (sites are not always bus accessible)
