CBI Health is seeking a people leader to support the National Vocational Rehabilitation Services (formerly Altius) through the effective planning, directing, and overseeing of National Computer/Vocational Training Services operations.
This support will include the development, implementation, and evaluation of strategies that positively influence client, team member and funder experience across the training programs/services they are leading.
As a Vocational Services Team Lead - National Computer/Vocational Training Services, you will call upon your problem-solving skills to lead a team of trainers in day-to-day service excellence, leadership, and by example in the direct provision of services.

What you will do each day:
- Collaborate with the Manager of Vocational Services to innovate National Computer/Vocational Training Services delivery methods and models and ensure National Computer/Vocational Training Services are conducted with integrity and in alignment with key performance indicators (KPIs) and best practices
- Collaborate with Administrative Team Lead to resolve gaps in National Computer/Vocational Training Services execution; assess and identify opportunities for improvements to team and programs/services
- Actively works to build trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders; develop and nurture strong business relationships
- Provide professional input into business decisions, service delivery model and developmental opportunities
- Actively develop course curriculum and content and standardize the computer/vocational training program nationally
- Lead and inspire others through demonstrated behaviours, actions and intentional leadership and development planning
- Prioritize the retention of talent through thoughtful and collaborative growth plan discussions, regular feedback, and mentorship
- Coach, mentor, develop and performance manage team members with consistent use of professional performance development practice
- Align organizational objectives with corporate goals and functional goals, identifying business metrics to meet and exceed the CBI Health's vision and values
- Lead by example, creating an environment that draws and retains high performing talent who live the values of CBI Health in accordance with the established vision of the organization
- Deliver computer/vocational training services to vocational clients via telehealth and inperson
What you will need to be successful:
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in a related field (
Computer Sciences preferred):
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in computer/vocational training and program development
- Demonstrated experience
supervising, training,
coaching and mentoring team members working with individuals with complex barriers - Experience with
facilitating or instructing group programming, both inperson and remotely
Certified Microsoft Office Specialist, or willing to work towards certification
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize,
establish workflows, and work well under pressure - Proven ability to develop and adhere to established policies, guidelines, and instructions
- Experienced in working as an interdisciplinary team member and liaising with varied stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal
communication, sales, and customer service skills: - Be results-oriented, adaptable, well organized, and able to function independently
- Possess sound written and verbal communication and multitasking skills
- Able to work well in an interdisciplinary team and handle multiple assignments and deadlines
Valid driver's license and car is required to travel to various locations
