SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Assistant Operations Manager & Operations Manager the Park Operator is responsible for conducting daily sweeps of Mount Seymour Provincial Park.

Maintaining trail heads and all park facilities on the 13km Mount Seymour Road. You will be responsible for basic landscaping tasks, garbage collection, and trail maintenance.

WHAT WE REQUIRE FROM YOU:

A positive and friendly attitude in all weather conditions.

Able to follow directions and work unsupervised.

Capable of using gas-powered landscaping tools.

Able to work weekends and holidays as required.

Valid driver's license.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

Full-time, permanent position.

Salary based on compatibility with experience, qualifications, and assets.

Vacation pay accrual at the rate of 4% per bi-weekly pay period.

50% of employee benefit costs including medical, dental, extended health, life insurance, and long-term disability after 3 months of continuous full-time employment.
