Photo Port Associate (Part-Time)

Photo Port is a fun and fast-paced environment at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada.

Photo Port Associates provides world-class guest service to all our guests here at Ripley's Aquarium of Canada as we take their photos with a variety of themed backgrounds.

The Photo Port Associate will engage with guests and assist in providing them with souvenir photo products, associates will operate a Point of Sales system for the purpose of sales transactions.

Associate will be required to effectively and accurately handle cash, debit and credit transactions. The Photo Port Associate should be outgoing, friendly, and guest oriented

Please remember that due to the nature of our business, we work when others play in an attraction that is open 365 days of the year You will be expected to be regularly available to work any shift during, before or after these hours of operation.

Critical Accountabilities:

Taking guests photos, assembling product efficiently.
Directing guests to the photo port location to view and purchase their pictures.
Maintaining high capture rate by ensuring consistent number of photos are taken.
Maintaining counts and receipts for individual cash drawers.
Providing excellent guest service and assist in achieving optimal sales.
Retrieving inventory from the onsite stockroom as needed.
Assist in accurately counting stock as needed
Assist in keeping the department clean and tidy.
Perform other Photo Port duties as assigned.

Special Skills and Requirements:

Previous experience with sales is an asset.
Prior experience with point of sales system is an asset.
Must be confident to work in a fastpaced environment.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends and holidays.
Be available to work a minimum of three shifts a week.
Exemplary punctuality and time keeping skills.
Able to stand for extended periods of time.
Outgoing, friendly, and guest oriented.
Must have the ability to lift up to 50lbs.
