Hybrid Model - when working onsite, you will report to the location of West Tower.


HOURLY RATE:

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:


Reporting to the Senior Manager, HR Integration and Innovation, this role provides program and administrative support to the Corporate project - Policy & Liaison team, assisting in day-to-day duties.

Supports the effective delivery of services and responds to general inquiries received by the section.

This role will support the policy team in preparing reports, presentations, policy guides and templates and supports the coordination and tracking of policy.


  • Respond to customer inquiries/concerns and provide information regarding programs and services, and escalates to appropriate City staff as required
  • Assist and collaborate on sectional programs and special projects
  • Provide administrative support including physical and electronic filing, preparing memos and formatting reports
  • Maintain records, documentation, and prepare reports as required
  • Process online forms and provide support on sectional workflow procedures
  • Assist with data entry and tracking, and maintain data integrity
  • Maintain an understanding of department programs and services
  • Understand and adhere to Corporate Policies & Procedures, Confidentiality Guidelines, Emergency Procedures and Health and Safety Standards
  • Attend meetings/training as required
  • Work well within diverse groups in support of operational goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrate corporate values at all times.
  • Participate as a member of crossfunctional team.
  • Provide support/backup as necessary.

SELECTION CRITERIA:


  • Working towards a degree or diploma in Business Administration, Political Science, Public Administration, Law or equivalent or a similar discipline, or have a related experience or interest.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of corporate policy specific principles
  • Effective customer service skills and communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills
