Position Overview:

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Health Records Processing/Transcription, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St.

Boniface General Hospital, the CLERK III is responsible for:
retrieving, sorting and processing discharges; filing health records; and performing other related duties as assigned.

Experience:

Six(6) months experience in the Health Records Department of a hospital OR
One (1) year related clerical experience.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):

Grade XII or recognized equivalent.

Qualifications and Skills:

Keyboard Speed 45 wpm.
Ability to work in a Windows operating environment.
Ability to read, write speak and understand English.
Ability to retain information which is of a confidential nature.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Legible handwriting.
