Electrical & Instrumentation Techs - All Levels - Nisku, Canada - Surepoint Group
Description
Surepoint is currently seeking Electricians & Instrumentation Technicians for short-term construction work in the Fort McMurray area. This position is a camp job, approximately 6-8 weeks duration, paid travel from Edmonton, 12 hour shifts.General industrial construction tasks including but not limited to
- Mounting equipment, panels, devices, cable tray
- EHT installation, including terminating and testing
- Cable pulls, wire pulls and large equipment installations
- MCC work including, glanding, terminating and testing
- Working from EWP, ladders and tight areas
- First Aid, H2S, WHMIS 2015, EWP and fall arrest considered an asset but not required
- Ability to work in various working conditions ranging from outdoors to indoors in a variety of weather conditions and working from heights as needed.
- Certified Journeyman or Registered Apprentice Electrician or Instrumentation Technician
- Valid Class 5 license with a clean driver abstract.
- Previous experience in the Oil and Gas industry in construction or maintenance is considered an asset.
