As part of our rapidly growing team you will play an important and unique role in working towards our mission to create the best people management system for our customers so they can spend more time doing what they love.


The Role:


Reporting to the CEO, and working closely with her, the P&C Business Partner will be a leader responsible for overseeing, developing, and implementing People & Culture strategies to drive performance, team engagement, development, recruitment, and retention.

We're looking for a leader who has helped scale a fast growing tech company from 100 to 250 employees.

Our team is the most important part of our flywheel, therefore having someone that is compassionate and big on working with a high performing team is key.


Location:


Duties & Responsibilities

Learning & Development

  • To coach and empower our people leaders (both new and experienced) on Push's people process and standardize across all teams on similar support, talk tracks, compensation adjustment, 1:1's, reviews and advice.
  • Developing a training program for people leaders to grow in their role. Spending time with newer people leaders on best practices in coaching/developing and having performance conversations with their team.
  • Plan and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills.
  • Promote professional growth opportunities and career development.
  • Building a culture of continuous learning & growth.

Leadership:


  • Develop and execute People strategies that align with the company's objectives of empowering our people leaders to build high performing teams.
  • Develop and implement People & Culture initiatives, policies, and programs that help us scale to 250 team members.
  • Build out scalable people processes such as company policies.

Talent Acquisition and Recruitment:


  • Enhance our new team members onboarding process and oversee their experience to ensure it's amazing.

Professional Development:


  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in P&C management.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.

Employee Engagement:


  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives.
  • Increase our team member's engagement and create initiatives to support with that.

Company's Policies

  • Oversee termination and offboarding experience, benefits, payroll, our total rewards programs.
  • Update and review all company policies on an annually basis
  • Ensure the policies are easily accessible online and that are clear for Pushies to comprehend

Reporting Metrics

  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports for management and decisionmaking.
  • Monitor and report on key HR performance indicators.

Performance & Growth Management

  • Enhance our compensation and performance review process
  • Ensure all People Leaders are trained and coached on the framework
  • Develop career ladders for all roles in the company to support our team members on their growth path
  • Provide guidance to managers on performance feedback and improvement plans.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Is an empathetic and curious People & Culture leader. Is a coach and a team player who isn't afraid to ask questions or get into the weeds.
  • Strong analytical skills to track & monitor KPI's and make decisions using data & narrative
  • Has 3+ years in a P&C related management role
  • Has systemized the People & Culture team to create scalable strategy
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of the company and employees
  • Has developed best practices for People Leaders to empower them to be better leaders
  • Must be resourceful
  • Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines
  • Flexible in a hybrid role for being the office & remote

Bonus Skills:


  • Has previous experience helping tech companies scale from 100 to 250 employees
  • Has knowledge of the Canadian and select US states labor laws
