Your role within the team

  • Provide oversight and technical expertise to the CANDclean project
  • Represent CANDUclean technology to the customer as a single point of contact
  • Assumes the overall leadership for the maintenance and development of the program's control system
  • May be delegated to represent the Company in the development of standards and/or technical forms in his/her area of responsibility
  • Reports on technical progress
  • Assist in preparing/issuing shift schedules and coordinating work assignments
  • Lead the development of CANDUclean program initiatives and longrange technical plans, establishing objectives and priorities
  • Lead the site execution of CANDUclean project independently
  • Is the primary technical interface with the client with respect to CANDUclean technology
  • Provides input on the recruitment and training of competent specialized staff and input into the selection and appraisal of staff as required
  • Supervise the CANDUclean team both at Sheridan Park and site, performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to testing, training, mobilization and site execution.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to staff on both technical and professional matters.
  • Provide input on team/individual performance to management.
  • Various work location in both field and office
  • Travel as necessary

  • Diploma in Electronics (or similar)
  • Extensive experience with control systems and robotics used the nuclear industry
  • Expert level knowledge in the CANDUclean technology
  • Minimum of 15 years of working experience in the Nuclear Industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills in communicating with a large multidisciplinary team consisting of engineers and technicians with expertise in mechanical design, robotics, electronics, and instrumentation
  • Organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and multitask/ Service oriented
