Brandt is currently seeking a Machine Monitoring Manager for our Customer Support Centre in Regina, SK.


This position is a great opportunity for experienced technicians with an aptitude for technology, or individuals with a technology background and an aptitude for mechanical systems.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Build, develop, train and coach the Machine Monitoring team
  • Design and implement a machine monitoring program and monitoring roadmap across all Brandt divisions
  • Grow machine monitoring enrolment and profit for the department
  • Find efficiencies to streamline processes for monitoring and connectivity for faster response times to alerts, connections and how Brandt and our customers utilize information
  • Understand and support telematics and monitoring systems for all Brandt products and implement into a monitoring program. Find new ways to effectively monitor and report other makes and models of equipment outside the current Brandt portfolio
  • Review monitoring data to identify emerging issues occurring across all of Brandt and communicate to stakeholders. Follow up on those issues and identify learning opportunities
  • Work with the Brandt Technical Assistance Center to develop and implement service bulletins on emerging issues
  • Review customer fleet reports and establish process and provide continuous improvement
  • Meet KPI's for the Machine Monitoring Center
  • Minimum 200 tickets monthly
  • Fleet reports distributed within 7 days of the month
  • 100% of maintenance alerts sent out
  • Provide coverage during peak times for JDLink administrator
  • Review connectivity pricing and make sure that Brandt is competitive in the marketplace.
  • Review current monitoring software and needs of the monitoring department for future growth
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

Required Experience

  • Past management experience in building and developing a team is recommended
  • Basic knowledge of the heavy equipment & dealership service departments is an asset
  • Basic understanding of condition monitoring and preventative maintenance practices is recommended
  • Ability to use performance metrics to track and correlate different data sources to create an accurate recommendation.
  • Understand effective inspection process and equipment lifecycle planning
  • Bilingual is an asset but not required
  • Some travel may be required
